Fu method

Fu method is published an explicit algorithm for the solution of ordinary differential equations for two dimensional wave propagation in solids, in which he presented difference equations for a two step calculation within each time interval. When the method is applied to the structural systems, it first predicts the displacement vector and then calculates the acceleration and velocity vectors at the middle of a time step. It then predicts the displacement vector and from that calculates the acceleration and velocity vectors at the end of the time step.
